Educators get McDonalds education
Principals, teachers, and staff from Wilkes County schools served up burgers and fries at Washington's McDonalds Monday night, raising hundreds of dollars for the Augusta Ronald McDonald House. The house serves as a home to parents whose children are hospitalized in one of Augusta's hospitals. As they do every year, the educators learned quickly that working at McD's is hard work. "It moves so fast," said W-WMS assistant principal Dee Lee. "I really appreciate what these kids do now."
