Mr. and Mrs. Edward Pope Jr. visited Tuesday in Athens with Mr. and Mrs. John Gentry Jr., Anna and Caroline, and attended Anna's performance with other Oconee County Primary School second graders at the annual fall event. After the program, the family enjoyed celebrating Mr. Gentry's birthday.

+ Dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Smythe Newsome Sunday to celebrate the birthday of Mrs. Sparky Newsome were Lizzie Newsome of Athens; Daniel Newsome of Macon, Molly Newsome, Mr. and Mrs. Sparky Newsome, and Mr. and Mrs. C.H. Randall Jr.
