Learn to appreciate veterans
The Washington-Wilkes Pre-Kindergarten Classes colored sheets about the Pledge of Allegiance and enjoyed a visit by veterans for their Veterans Day celebration. The children learned that the veterans and soldiers are important, brave people and that we must thank them for the courage they have shown throughout the years.
