Shop the Holiday Open House Tuesday
Crowds filled Scarborough's during the first Candlelight Christmas Shopping last week, and with the Holiday Open House next Tuesday, the Christmas shopping season in Washington is in full swing. "Don't fight the mall crowds," said Pamela Eaton of the Downtown Development Authority, "come enjoy the unique shopping and refreshments in beautiful downtown Washington Tuesday night, Dec. 5, from 6 to 9." Winners of the Candlelight Shopping Downtown Dollars giveaway last week were Jamey Lyons of Thomson, who won $100; Pat Thornton of Washington, who won $50; and Tanner Massey of Washington, who won $25 in Downtown Dollars.
