Louis George Taylor

Graveside services for Louis George Taylor, 80, of Roland Road, Thomaston, will be held Saturday, December 9, 2006, at 2 p.m., at the Bethany Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Union Point. He died Wednesday, November 29, in Roberta.

Mr. Taylor was a native of Taliaferro County and was a retired supervisor in construction. He was the son of the late Alva Gray Taylor and Mary Fritz Taylor. He was an Army veteran of World War II, and a member of the 82nd Airborne.

Survivors include a son, Greg Taylor of Thomaston; two daughters, Teresa Sanchez, Ocean Springs, MS,m and Jina Teston, Thomaston; four sisters, Sara Frances Mathis, Norfolk, Va., Nell Williamson, Orlando, Fla., Virginia Wheless and Dot Wolfe, Washington; and two grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Bethany Presbyterian Church, Bethany Road, Union Point, Ga. 30669.

Hopkins Funeral Home of Washington is in charge of arrangements.
