Grace Callaway guest of honor at birthday celebrations

Grace Jefferies Callaway, daughter of Eugene M. Jr. and Kari Hudson Callaway, was five years old on Tuesday, November 28, and celebrated on several occasions.

Grace celebrated with her K-4 classmates at Briarwood Academy on her birthday. Her friends were served Princess cupcakes with rings, Cheese Nips and juice. Each schoolmate was presented a favor box they filled with candy after enjoying a castle piñata.

A low-country birthday dinner of shrimp-gravy and grits was served that evening at her home with a Disney Princess cake. Attending with her parents and sister, India, was her grandmother, Avola Callaway.

Grace was also treated to a Builda Bear party on Saturday, November 18, in Augusta. The children were allowed to pick out a bear, help stuff it, and then dress it in clothes of their choosing. After the party, the children were treated to lunch at Chick-fil-A. Those attending included her mother, sister, India, and friends, Kaylie Cato, Sara Delle Conner, Maci Dyson, Madeline Jackson, Lauren Lowe, Hannah Murray, Nicole Purcell and Chloe and Camille Wilson.
