Anna Claire Edwards receives Sacrament of Holy Baptism

Anna Claire Edwards, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Harvey Edwards III of Weddington, N.C., received the Sacrament of Holy Baptism on Sunday, October 29, during the 11 a.m. service at We d d i n g t o n United Methodist Church in Weddington.

A number of close friends and relatives attended the baptism. Among the guests were her paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Harvey Edwards II of Washington; and paternal greatgrandmother, Mrs. Nita Edwards Riley of Tignall.

A luncheon at Rolling Hills Country Club in Monroe, N.C., followed the service.
