The cold frigid weather has been the main topic for conversation lately. One of my neighbors said his thermometer was 10 degrees Saturday morning and 17 Sunday morning. Anyway, no matter what the temperature was, rest assured – baby it’s cold outside. The youth of Ebenezer Baptist Church put their best effort forward and did a beautiful skit Saturday evening. They had practiced real hard and performed a great skit. After the program, Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Scroggs hosted their yearly Christmas party in the fellowship hall. It was fun and we all seemed to enjoy it. There was great food and much laughter. Rev. and Mrs. Leonard Dupree of Thomson and Rev. and Mrs. Albert Huyck of Tignall were special guests. We would like to thank Shirley and Ronnie for their generosity and such a fun party. Sunday, we had a good number in Sunday School and church. Rev. Dupree’s message was “To Make Room, the Old Old story,” taken from Luke. Mrs. Joann Webb is the homebound member for December. Her address is 207 Bailey Road, Washington.
