Marilla Roberta Racle Jones Funeral services for Marilla Roberta Racle Jones, 87, of Berkshire Drive, Washington, were held Thursday, December 7, 2006, at Hopkins Funeral Home with Hospice Chaplain Jeremy Carr officiating. Interment was Saturday, December 9, at Forest Lawn Memorial Garden in Columbus, Ohio. She died Tuesday, Dec. 5, at Wilkes Health Care Center, Washington. Mrs. Jones was a native of Erie, Penn., and was a retired music teacher. She was the widow of Carl H. Jones and the daughter of the late Harvey F. Racle and Mary Ausbaugh Racle. She was a member of the McEver Methodist Church in Oakwood. Survivors include a son, Richard A. Jones, Washington; three daughters, Beverly Purdy, Indianapolis, Ind., Rosemary Jewett, Mt. Sterling, Ohio, and Bonnie Nelson, Land O’ Lakes, Fla.; seven grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 409410, Atlanta, GA 30384-9410.
Hopkins Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
