Learning to cope with stress
Rev. Gale Seibert presented a program on coping skills for caregivers and for normal everyday stress at the last Tea and Learn meeting at Wills Memorial Hospital. Among her suggestions for coping were: learn how to say no, laugh, believe in yourself, count your blessings, and take life one day at a time. These were just a few of the ideas expressed at this last program of the year. Pat Neimann (right) said that the new year of “Lunch and Learns” will begin with Dr. Patrick Sizemore, assistant professor of surgery from the Medical College of Georgia. His subject will be “Learning About Your Colonoscopy.“ The program will be held January 30, 2007, at noon in the hospital library.
