Ga. Southern taps Wilkes students for fall Dean’s List

Three Wilkes County students have received honors at the end of the Georgia Southern University fall semester.

Daniel L. Dove of Tignall has been named to the President’s List for achieving a perfect 4.0 grade point average with a minimum of 12 credit hours for the semester. Daniel is a sophomore majoring in GTTREP/Electrical Engineering.

Two Washington-Wilkes students were named to the Dean’s List for the fall term. They are Shavanti L. Brittain, a senior majoring in Justice Studies; and Lydia B. Lamar, a sophomore majoring in Pre-Education Mathematics Education.

To be named to the dean’s list a student must have at least a 3.50 grade point average and carry a minimum of 12 credit hours for the semester.
