Washington Dialysis receives ‘Facility of the Year’ award at DaVita meeting
Washington Dialysis received two awards during the Awards Night Celebration. The facility was also presented the Highest DQI Award. DQI is DaVita Quality Index and is the corporate measure for patient outcomes. The Washington facility had the highest DQI average for the year for a large facility. The most prestigious award given during the awards was the Facility of the Year award. This award was determined and presented by Divisional Vice President Bob Perraud. The Washington facility was very honored to receive this award for 2006. The Divisional Facility of the Year was accepted by Sonya Roth, RN, facility administrator. Also representing the Washington facility at the meeting were Dr. B. N. Kuppuswamy, medical director; Heather Ansley, divisional lead dietitian; Santhony Dawson, Shining Star biomedical technician; and Dollie Gaye, insurance support specialist. Other teammates in the Washington facility are Janis Parham, RN; Sylvia Rucker, RN; Tish Scott, LPN; Debbie Tutt, LPN/preceptor; Peggy Andrews, LPN; Gerry Dukes, LMSW; Melissa Turman, administrative assistant; Bennie Jenkins, PCT; Dan Wright, PCT; Anita Williams, PCT; Margie Willis, PCT/RT; and Tracy Hardigree, PCT/RT/reuse preceptor.
The facility teammates were honored with a luncheon on December 8 to celebrate their accomplishments and awards.
