Holy family featured in Russian icon display
The image of the Mary, Joseph, and the baby Jesus is featured in Washington Historical Museums display of the Daniel Bibb Russian icon collection. ”We’ve been having lots of visitors, and they’ve found this very special exhibit informative and enlightening,” curator Stephanie Macchia said. The museum is open from 10 to 5 Tuesday through Saturday, and 12:30 to 3:30 on Sunday, and closed on Mondays and major holidays. Admission is $3 for adults and $2 for children 5 to 12.
