Our regular fifth Sunday covered dish meal at Clifford’s Grove Baptist Church will be this Sunday, December 31. Please come join us and have a good time of fellowship on the last day of 2006. It’s hard to realize that 2006 is almost gone. I hope everyone will have a happy new year. Mr. and Mrs. James Sherrer and Mrs. Iris Dyson enjoyed the Christmas program at Wilkes County Baptist Church and the fellowship time and refreshments Sunday night, December 17. Mr. and Mrs. Willard Lance visited Elizabeth Barber in Athens Tuesday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. James Sherrer left Saturday morning to spend Christmas weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Ed Cox and Edna Sherrer in Bennettsville, S.C. Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Sherrer, Nikki and Jamie of Raleigh joined them there.
