Couples celebrate the season with Dance and Dessert Party

Wisteria Hall on East Robert Toombs Avenue was the setting for the Washington Dance Academy’s Couples’ Class and friends Dance and Dessert Party Friday evening, December 15.

Innkeepers, Jim and Jane Bundy, cleared the large dining hall making room for an evening of dance.

Rumba, two step, basic ballroom, salsa and shag were several of the routines enjoyed during the evening.

Delicious refreshments were served by Mrs. Bundy.

The gathering was such a success that plans are being made for another dance party in February according to Cynthia Altman and Cathy Lannae.

Present for the evening were Lamont and Cathy Lannae, Ken and Jane Bearse, Darren and Cynthia Altman, Donald and Barbara Wheatley, Jim and Sue Davidson, Breckyn Hudson, Renee Brown, Thomas Macfie, and Karl Ford and Lily Perkins of Augusta.

Several members of the Washington Dance Academy’s couples’ class and friends dance away holiday stress at the Dance and Dessert Party at Wisteria Hall.
