The Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 5899 and its Ladies Auxiliary held the annual Christmas party for patients of the Georgia Veterans Nursing Home in Augusta and clients and counselors of Georgia TASC in Washington on December 15.

The party was held at the post home on Andrew Drive in Washington at 11 a.m.

Twelve patients and two caregivers attended from the "Blue Goose" with 25 clients and nine counselors present from Georgia TASC.

Music for dancing and sing-alongs was furnished by Debbie and Henry Anderson. Santa Claus came and distributed gifts and visited with each one present.

A lunch of barbecued chicken was served with ice cream and Little Debbies for dessert.
