The Fishing Creek Baptist Church will have a special morning worship service Sunday, January 28, at 11 a.m.

Jeff Daniel and Frankie Ware will be ordained as deacons during the service; and the new Sunday School building will be dedicated.

"The Lord has and continues to bless us," says Rev. Roy Cates, pastor. "Sunday School attendance increased to the point that we needed additional classrooms. This project began with prayer, planning, and faith, and the result is a building which is now complete without the church going into debt to build it."

Following the morning service there will be a fellowship meal with meats furnished by the church and those attending bringing covered dish items.

Rev. Cates and members of the congregation invite anyone interested to attend all services.
