Survivors include her mother, Funeral services for Willie Mae Eades, 58, of Washington were held Saturday, January 12, 2007, at Heard's Chapel Baptist Church, Washington, with Rev. G.L. Avery officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery. She died January 4 at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta.

Willie Mae Eades was a native of Wilkes County and the daughter of Flora Mae and the late Matt L. Eades. She was a member of Heard's Chapel Baptist Church and was employed by Washington Manor personal care home in Washington. Flora Mae Eades of Washington; children, Adrienne D. Eades, Antwan Ceaser, and Tristan R. Binns; four brothers, Matt L. Eades, Chicago, Grady L. Eades, Charlotte, N.C., and Larry Eades, Washington; three sisters, Carrie B. Eades, Chicago, Euna Stripling, Washington, and Vanessa Norman, Lincolnton.

Pallbearers included members of the Class of 1968, Robert Gladman, Timmy Carter, Frank Brown, and Otis Brown.

McLendon Memorial Funeral Home of Washington was in charge of arrangements.
