Genna Grimaud was honored at a family shower on Sunday afternoon, January 21.

Festivities were hosted by her sister in-law, Andrea Strother; aunts, Donna Hardy, Tricia Bridges and Sandee Bridges; stepmother-in-law, Louise Grimaud; and cousins, Kristin Stevens and Monica Hardy, in the conference room at the Georgia Baptist Association Office on Jefferson Street.

Mrs. Grimaud was presented a corsage of white daisies tied with ladybug and pink ribbons and accented with a miniature baby bottle. Corsages of daisies and ladybug ribbon were presented to Mrs. Grimaud's mother, Linda Albea, and stepmother-in-law, Mrs. Grimaud.

A ladybug theme was used in decorating.

As guests arrived, they registered at a table covered in white and decorated with a vase of daisies and red berries, also a candle and a scrapbook setting featuring sonogram pictures of the baby.

White cloths were also used on the refreshment and gift tables. Centering the refreshment table was a tall silver vase filled with large red gerbera daisies and delicate white daisies. Accenting the table were ladybug birdhouses with fresh flowers. Decorating the ends of the table were clusters of green netting finished with daisies and bows.

From the table guests enjoyed a delicious assortment of party foods and punch.

A setting of a rocking chair and quilts provided the seating area where Mrs. Grimaud welcomed her guests and opened gifts that were displayed nearby.

The hostesses presented Mrs. Grimaud a gift certificate to J.C. Penney.

Forty guests were invited.
