Caroline Gentry treated to Little Mermaid party
Caroline Gentry, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Gentry Jr., celebrated her fifth birthday with a party at her home on Chestnut Lane in Athens Saturday, January 20. Her birthday was January 12.
Caroline and her guests were treated to a Little Mermaid party.
After the children enjoyed playing in the yard, they gathered in the garage that had been transformed to an underwater scene with ocean waves, colorful fish, ocean grasses, and shells. Balloons were also used to decorate.
Caroline celebrated with a Little Mermaid ice cream cake topped with Ariel in a large clam shell. It was enjoyed with M&M's, goldfish and CapriSuns.
Favors were presented to each child.
Celebrating with Caroline and a host of her school friends were her sister, Anna; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Pope Jr. of Washington; and neighbors, Sarena Springer, and Chris Griffith, Lauren and Will.
Later in the evening Caroline, her family, grandparents and special friend, Lindsey Bryant, enjoyed supper at the Cracker Barrel.
