Registration for the Washington- Wilkes Little League 2007 program will begin Monday, February 5, and continue through Saturday, February 24.

The program is for boys and girls baseball and also includes girls softball. Ages for the boys and girls baseball are five through 15 years old and girls softball is for ages nine through 16.

Participants may register at the Ashley Park office Monday through Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Payment is due with registration. The fee for all ages is $45.00. There will be late registration from February 26 through March 2, and there will be a late charge of $10 for each child in addition to the $45.00.

Tryouts are set for Saturday, March 3. Minor League baseball tryouts for ages 9 and 10 will be from 10 a.m. to 12 noon on field 1; and girls softball, ages 9-12 tryouts will be 10 a.m. to 12 noon on field 2.

The Major League baseball tryouts for ages 11 and 12 will be from 12 noon until 2 p.m. on field 1; and senior girls softball, ages 13-16, will be from 12 noon until 2 p.m. on field 2.
