Brian George (right) was ordained as a minister of the gospel at Fishing Creek Baptist Church at the request of Carter's Grove Baptist CHurch which has called him as pastor. Fishing Creek pastor Roy Cates conducted the ceremony and ordination service on Sunday, January 7, along with Rev. Albert Huyck, retired minister and former pastor of the candidate; and Rev. James Gland, Georgia Baptist Association Missionary.

Rev. George is a son of Ed and Roberta Caldwell George of Washington. Members of his family including his brother Tony George of Phoenix, Arizona, and Paula Stevens of Washington, attended the service.
