Avery Nathaniel Hall, son of Boyce and Pam Hall of Rayle, celebrated his ninth birthday on January 20.

Avery visited his maternal grandparents, Norris and Frances Ware in Washington, after school the day before his birthday.

On his birthday Avery had special visits from Clyde and Sandy Whittington.

Avery and his friend, Wes Tanner, celebrating by spending Saturday evening at Chuck E Cheese in Athens for hours of games and pizza. Also joining them were Avery's parents; his sister Lindley; his paternal grandmother, Martha Hall; and Keaton Wilson.

When they returned home, they had a football birthday cake baked by Billy Amason. Wes spent the night with Avery and accompanied him to Sardis Baptist Church Sunday morning.
