Hope Ashley Nuhfer, daughter of Mark and Tracie Vinson Nuhfer of Watkinsville, celebrated her seventh birthday on January 5 and was honored on several occasions.

On Friday night Hope hosted a slumber party at her house with friends from school. They all decorated their own cupcakes and slept in the living room by the fire. The next morning her parents took them to Build-A-Bear Workshop in Atlanta where each got to make her own stuffed animal and pick out an outfit. Joining Hope and her parents were her sister, Summer; Ellie and Jenny Brightwell, Hannah Meadow and Emma Knapp, all of the Watkinsville area.

Hope was also treated to a cookout at her home with her parents and sister, Summer, on Saturday, January 13. Others attending from outof town were her grandparents, Lewis and Mitzie Clough of Washington; Larry, Gina and David Luke Vinson and Cheyenne Parker of Thomson; Kevin and Mandy Nuhfer of Milledgeville; and Todd Nuhfer and Matthew Jennings of Lawrenceville. She received a special call from her grandparents, Michael and Nancy Nuhfer of Oil City, Penn.
