Anissa Marxsen was honored at a baby shower on Monday evening, January 29, at the home of Mary Katherine Dyson hosted by Mrs. Dyson and Jennifer Jackson.

Mrs. Marxsen was presented a corsage of Alstroemeria lilies.

Delicious refreshments included cheese straws, ham biscuits, cake squares decorated with pink booties, and punch.

Mrs. Marxsen was presented a gift certificate to Babies R Us and a sleeper.

Members of the Beta Sigma Phi Xi Delta Tau, Gretchen Lamar, Crystal Wheatley, Susan Pope, Kelli Tillman, Andie Moody, Elizabeth Lunceford, Monica Hardy, Cynthia Walker, Karmen Moon, Mary Katherine Dyson, Jennifer Jackson, and Melissa Burgess of Lincolnton, attended and had their regular meeting before the shower and refreshments.

Alex Lamar attended with his mother and other special guests were prospective big sisters, Maci and Maggie Marxsen.
