Friends of the Mary Willis Library will bring their favorite characters from history and fiction to the meeting today, Thursday, February 8, at 3 p.m. in the Meeting Room of the library to present them to other Friends.

Characters from favorite books have delighted the members in years past and this year promises to be a lively and entertaining program.

The Mary Willis Library staff will provide decorations for this event and Friends will serve refreshments as a part of the festivities.

February is membership renewal month. Members are encouraged to renew their membership at this meeting. Membership in the Friends is opened to all persons interested in supporting and focusing attention on library services, encouraging gifts, endowments and memorials for the library and providing programs of literary and cultural interest.
