Hunter Callaway celebrates eighth birthday Feb. 11
William Hunter Callaway, son of Mr. and Mrs. Scott Callaway of Rayle, was eight years old on February 11 and celebrated on several occasions.
Hunter and his father, whose birthday was February 8, celebrated with a pizza party at home on Friday, February 9. Joining Hunter and his father were family members.
That same day Hunter had enjoyed snacks and juice with his second grade classmates at Briarwood Academy in Thomson.
On Saturday, February 10, Hunter was honored with a slumber party at his home. The house was festively decorated for the party in a football theme. His football cake was served with ice cream and juice. Hunter and his guests also enjoyed a cookout with hamburgers, hot dogs and all the trimmings. After the cookout, the boys continued the celebration by watching videos, playing with Hunter's Game Cube and PlayStation, as well as jumping on the trampoline and playing outdoor games. As the children departed Sunday morning, they were presented goody bags and Silly String. Joining Hunter for the party were Jonathon Davidson, Peyton and Tanner Massey, and Alex Hicks.
On his birthday Hunter enjoyed visiting his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Peggy R. Callaway of Washington, his uncle, Larry Callaway, and cousin, Caleb Callaway of Rayle.
