Registration for the Washington- Wilkes Kindergarten (five-yearolds) for the 2007-2008 school year will be held during the week of March 5-9, daily from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Any Wilkes County child who will be five years old on or before September 1, 2007, is eligible to attend kindergarten. Derrick Tutt has been named area manager for the Traction North America facility in Orangeburg, S.C. He is the son of Dorothy Tutt and grandson of Mary Ann Tutt.
