Christy Michelle Dove Joseph William David Mrs. Jane Moore of Iva, S.C., announces the engagement of her daughter, Christy Michelle Dove, to Joseph (Joey) William David, son of Mr. and Mrs. James David of Dewy Rose.

The bride-elect is also the daughter of the late Marvin Dove of Tignall. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Fulton Dove of Tignall and the late Mr. and Mrs. Clark Drake of Elberton.

Miss Dove is a l998 graduate of Washington-Wilkes Comprehensive High School and is employed by the Elbert County Sheriff's Office.

Mr. David is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Rousey of Bowman and the late Mr. and Mrs. Joe David of Dewy Rose.

He is a 2004 graduate of Elbert County Comprehensive and is employed by the City of Elberton Police Department.

A family mountain wedding is planned for Saturday, April 28, in Pigeon Forge, Tenn. All family members and friends are invited to a reception that will be held on May 12 at 6 p.m. at the Elberton Civic Center in Elberton.
