The Chancel Choir of the First United Methodist Church will present a concert of favorite anthems, instrumental music, and solos on Sunday afternoon, April 15, at three o'clock. The concert is free to anyone who would like to attend and a love offering will be taken to benefit the church's building fund. Construction of the proposed new fellowship hall is expected to begin in just a few weeks. More ... Saturday morning about 42 children of the Tignall Baptist Church enjoyed a puppet show, giving them an enlightening message about celebrating Easter. Those presenting the puppet show were (at left) Jessica Wright, Hannah McTier, and Kaitlyn Bagwell. Refreshments were served before the show and following it was the very chilly Easter egg hunt.
