Do whatever to maintain growth

TO THE EDITOR:

My husband is finally home after a three-month stay in Augusta-area hospitals.

While we deeply appreciate the expertise and care of their highly qualified staffs, we nonetheless heaved a huge sigh of relief and celebrated a homecoming when we got back to the friendly faces at Dr. Kuppuswamy's office, Fievet Phar- macy, and Wills Memorial Hospital.

We are also convinced anew of the value and significance of a local hospital such as Wills Memorial where care is easily accessible and personal.

As the programs at our hometown hospital continue to grow, and we can receive quality care right here at home, we must support our hospital, appreciate its importance for our community, and do whatever is necessary to maintain its growth.

It's so nice to be home in Washington Wilkes.
