Makiah and Jason Tanner Makiah Tanner of Washington, accompanied by her father, Jason Tanner, attended the Wednesday Par 3 Round at last week's Masters Tournament in Augusta in celebration of her sixth birthday which was March 18.

Attending with Makiah and her father were Chip Hardin and Sandra Wilder of San Francisco, Calif., formerly of Washington-Wilkes.

The group enjoyed the beauty of the dogwoods, azaleas and cathedral pines at Augusta National Golf Club. They also had an "up close" view of many of the PGA Tour's star players including Jim Furyk, Robert Allenby, Chris DiMarco, Rich Beem, Sergio Garcia and Adam Scott.

U.S. Open Champion 2005 Michael Campbell's caddie gave Makiah a golf ball as the players left the 18th tee.
