Ninety cancer survivors have been extended invitations to attend the Fourth Annual Cancer Survivors Dinner scheduled at the Third Shiloh Center on McLendon Drive Saturday, April 28, at 5 p.m. This is the weekend before the Relay for Life event.

Award winning chef Joe Barnett is catering and sponsoring this special dinner to honor Wilkes County cancer survivors. The menu will include his famous Shrimp and Grits and a low country boil.

Additional dessert donations are being provided by Karen Saggus, Joan Oglesby, and Janet Thornton.

Washington-Wilkes musician Johnny Hill will provide entertainment with a Mardi Gras theme.
