May bride-elect Tanner Guinn was honored at a miscellaneous shower and brunch Saturday morning, April 28, at Ebenezer Baptist Church on the Thomson Road. Hostesses for the occasion were Mattie Harper of Thomson, Tara Farr of North Augusta, S.C., and Joyce Blackburn of Washington.

Miss Guinn was presented a corsage of daisies to complement her sleeveless peach top worn over brown slacks.

A beautiful arrangement of mixed spring flowers centered the buffet from which guests enjoyed mini muffins and biscuits, quiche, fresh fruits, cheese balls, Danish, apple juice, orange juice and coffee.

Tables for seating, covered in white as the buffet, featured either daisies in crystal vases or crystal bowls of red rose petals.

Miss Guinn presented her hostesses thank you gifts of Tyler Candle Company perfumed candles.

Twenty-two guests were invited. Special guests included the brideelect's mother, Teresa Tanner; grandmothers, Robbie Tanner and Linda Guinn, and aunt, Debra Tanner; and the prospective bridegroom's mother, Birder Mae Bridges, and sister, Tammy Gunter.
