One finalist from each school will be honored and awarded at a reception at the October meeting of the Wilkes County Board of Education.

Superintendent of Schools Joyce Williams presented the nominees at the county-wide meeting of school personnel on May 24.

Ginny King, Elizabeth Lunceford, and Kim White were nominated from the Washington-Wilkes Primary School; Jillian Andrews, Robin Booker, and Mary Elizabeth Burdette, Washington-Wilkes Elementary School; Silas Gresham, Pam Hall, and Michelle Smith, Washington-Wilkes Middle School; and Lillian Andrews Booker, Amy Harkins, and Ann Harrison, Washington Wilkes Comprehensive High School.
