Funeral services for Hattie Marie Walton, 52, of Washington were held Monday, May 28, 2007, at Springfield Baptist Church with Rev. Albert Rucker Jr. officiating. Interment was in City West Cemetery. She died Thursday, May 24, at Wills Memorial Hospital.

She was a native of Wilkes County and the daughter of the late Dorothy Callaway Walton and Jacob Walton.

Survivors include three sons, Deiante L. Walton, Tyfil E. Walton, and Joirorion C. (J.C.) Walton; three sisters, Sherley W. Stephens, Dorothy J. Walton, and Louise Huff; and four grandsons, Dante Q. Turner, Dionysius L. White, Deiante L. McBride, and Bernard M. Barnett.

Davenport & McLendon Mortuary Inc., Washington, was in charge of arrangements.
