Jon Benson and Jackie Hopkins of Chicago, Ill., announce the birth of their son, Dylan, on Tuesday, May 15, at Northwestern Hospital in Chicago. Dylan weighed 7 lbs. 13 ozs. and was 20 ½ inches long.

Maternal grandparents are John and Judy Schutty of Newton, Iowa.

Paternal grandparents are Martha Jarrell Hopkins of Summerville, S.C., formerly of Washington, and the late Benjamin Egbert Hopkins.

Mrs. Hopkins is the former Jackie Schutty of Newton, Iowa.
