Tiger baseball players honored at last week's dinner included: (front row, l-r) Clint Echols, Spencer Swinson, Caleb Saggus, Demont Gresham, (back) Coach Robert Wheeler, Coach Donny Swinson, Clete Wilson, Jonathan Nicholson, and Coach Rob Jackson. The 2007 Tiger baseball team held its annual cookout and awards presentation on May 24 at the Washington Wilkes Country Club Pavilion.

Varsity awards were presented to Clete Wilson for Best Offensive Player; Demont Gresham for Ace Award and Most Valuable Player; Jonathan Nicholson for the Coaches Award; and Caleb Saggus for Best Defensive Player.

Junior Varsity awards were given to Clint Echols, Best Defensive Player; and Spencer Swinson, Best Offensive Player.

A special thanks was given to Phil Tanner who helped prepare the chicken halves and to Maura Jackson who help prepare the baked beans.
