Carissa Wade earns Bachelor of Science from Ga. College

Carissa Wade of Washington-Wilkes received a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications during commencement exercises at Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville in May.
She was also inducted into the Lambda Pi Eta honor society at the university. Carissa is serving an internship with Georgia Public Broadcasting. She is a 2003 graduate of Washington-Wilkes Comprehensive High School and is the daughter of Tim and Etwenda (Tink) Wade of Washington-Wilkes.
Others attending the graduation besides her parents were her grandmothers, Mrs. Mary Wilson of Bartow, Fla., and Mrs. Mary Partain of North Augusta; and her aunt, Denise Earnest of Orlando, Fla. Several friends from Washington also attended.
