Ella Jane Gaither, daughter of Matthew and Sara Jane Gaither of Canton, celebrated her first birthday Monday, May 28.

She was honored with a luncheon party at her home. The theme was of fuchsia and green polka dots provided by Lauren Lindsey Fowler of Statesboro.

Ella wore a polka dot dress and feather crown and enjoyed a cake decorated like a gift package.

Lunch was served from the grill with other casual fare.

Celebrating with Ella and her parents were her grandparents, Jerry Stover of Washington, Celeste Stover of Canton, Ralph Gaither and Dr. Kimberly Gaither of Acworth; paternal great-grandparents, Ralph and Earline Gaither of Marietta; her aunt, Anna Stover of Washington, D.C.; uncle, Jacob Gaither of Acworth; Judy Gaither of Marietta, Chris and Dean Barrow of Austell; Kermit Hocutt and Gail Scott of Washington; James, Stacie, and Olivia Barrow of Marietta; Christine, Angel and Drew McPherson of Acworth; Brian, Shauna, Hudson and McKenzie Spear of McDonough; and Amanda and Madison Judy of Woodstock.
