Bryanna Pilgrim graduates from Thomson High
Bryanna Dell Pilgrim graduated from Thomson High School in commencement exercises at The Brickyard in Thomson Saturday, May 26.
Bryanna is the daughter of Larron and Susan Pilgrim of Thomson. She is the grandd aughter of Howard and Dell James of Washington and the late Dilbert and Ellen Pilgrim.
Mr. and Mrs. James and Ronnie James of Washington joined the family for her graduation.
Bryanna was an honor graduate and was active in all aspects of school life through her high school career.
For the past four years she was on the flagcorps for the Bulldog Brigade and in the concert band. She was also active in many clubs having served as vice-president of the Spanish Club, treasurer in the sophomore class, member of HOSA, FCA, FBLA, Beta Club, FEA, and was a senior adopter working at Dearing Elementary through the apprenticeship program.
For the past two years at Thomson High, she was a member of Who's Who Among American High School Students. In her junior year, she became a member of the National Society of High School Scholars and was nominated for the honor in her senior year.
She was involved in the Miss Thomson High pageants in her freshman, sophomore and senior years and was named Miss Senior this past year. She was also on the homecoming court as fourth runnerup. Bryanna was nominated as a Senior Superlative - Most Attractive.
She plans to attend Augusta Technical College to become a licensed practical nurse and further her education in hopes of becoming a registered nurse.
