Wiley, Bohler honored at luau June 2
Engaged couple Elizabeth Wiley and Adam Bohler were honored at a "Garden and Grillin' Luau" on Saturday evening, June 2, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. David McAvoy. Co-hosts with the McAvoys were Mr. and Mrs. John Yochim and Mr. and Mrs. Tim Echols.
For the festive affair, the brideelect wore denim capris and a floral halter top. She and her prospective bridegroom were presented colorful leis as were all the guests as they arrived.
The patio area and yard were decorated with tiki torches, ferns, and fresh flowers in keeping with the luau theme. Guest tables were covered with brightly-colored cloths and centered with lanterns and fresh flowers.
Guests enjoyed a delicious dinner of barbecued chicken, baked ham, salad, fresh fruit, corn on the cob, rolls, and desserts of cheesecake squares, Key Lime Pie, chocolate cake and Strawberries in the Snow. Tea was also served.
Wind chimes were presented to the couple by the hosts.
Approximately 35 guests attended.
