Arcadian Eaton celebrates second birthday June 2

2007-06-14 / Personalities

Arcadian Kerns Eaton, son of Linda and Ulysses Eaton of Guyton, celebrated his first birthday at his home on June 2.

Although the rains came, it didn't stop the fun with balloons tied to every column of his Victorian home with a tent in the side yard decorated with balloons and crepe paper.

Silly Dilly the Clown came for the afternoon performing a fun magic show for all the children along with face painting and polka dancing.

Arcadian's cake was shaped like a huge turkey with a brown body and colorful feathers.

His uncle, Greg Giltner of Columbia, S.C., arrived early to cook his famous barbecue and baked beans while uncle Pierce Giltner of Chester, S.C., was also an early arrival to complete the Tiki bar he built out of cedar, pine and oak for the occasion.

Maternal grandmother, Arlene Dever, and uncle and family, Mike, Susan, Katie, Shawn and Sarah Dever, of Long Island, N.Y., and paternal grandparents, Pamela and Rodney Eaton of Washington, attended along with 50 other adults and children from the Guyton area.
