The Adult Bible Searchers Class of the First Baptist Church enjoyed a cookout and fellowship at The Ark Friday evening, June 1.

Members and guests gathered at The Ark where tables were festively decorated in a patriotic theme.

Delicious hamburgers and hot dogs were enjoyed with a bounty of covered dish accompaniments after the welcome and blessing by Bill Bishop.

After dinner all went to the church playground where they continued their "man versus woman" bocce' ball competition. The series is now tied as the men were winners in the latest contest.

Enjoying the evening planned by Bill and Teresa Bishop in addition to the Bishops were Tom and Melanie Wells, Kerry and Nancy McAvoy, Brian Baldwin, Wayne and Sharon Williamson, Ira and Ann Tiller, David and Gail Hunter, Pug and Kay Nelms, Bill and Jackie Gillispie, Edward and Susan Pope, and Chris, Tara, Garston and Henry Townsend.
