Vanessa Wilson, bride-elect of Clay Patrick of Guyton, was honored at a linen shower on Sunday afternoon, June 3, given by Jo Randall at her home on East Robert Toombs Avenue.

The bride-elect was lovely in a black skirt and black and white wrap top.

As guests arrived, they registered in the bride's book on a table in the spacious front hall and greeted the bride-elect and hostess.

Everyone was invited into the dining room where the table, overlaid in an heirloom crocheted cloth, was centered with a beautiful arrangement of oak hydrangea. From the table guests enjoyed a delicious assortment of party foods.

Punch was served in the breakfast room from a table adorned with magnolia blossoms and smilax.

A hostess gift of linens was presented to Miss Wilson.

Among the guests attending were the bride-elect's mother, Candy Hopkins of Washington; her Mama II, Becky Wilson, and grandmother, Rebecca Echols, both of Tignall; her great-aunt, Lily Granade of Athens; and the prospective bridegroom's mother, Evelyn Patrick of Swainsboro.
