Our community was deeply saddened by the death of Mrs. Annie Bell Graham Thursday evening. She was a member of Clifford's Grove Baptist Church and was a faithful member until declining health made it necessary for her to live at Washington Manor. Several members of the church and others in the community attended her funeral at Resthaven Cemetery Saturday afternoon. Sincere sympathy is extended to her son, Bob Haughey, and his family. .Josh and Ann Caldwell of Statesboro were supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. James Sherrer Wednesday evening and attended prayer service at Clifford's Grove Baptist Church with Mrs. Sherrer. They recently returned from a missionary trip to Moldova with a Baptist group from the Baptist Collegiate Ministry sponsored by the Georgia Baptist Convention. They both gave interesting talks about things they did. They worked with the Moldova Baptist Association and helped to repair an orphanage and enjoyed working with children there. They gave out food and Bibles and presented the gospel. They visited several churches and Josh preached at one using an interpreter. He said that was quite an experience. They both were very excited and have hopes of entering the mission field in the future. Josh and Ann are leading a three-week children's day camp in Crawfordville sponsored by his home church in Fanning County. A large number of children from all over Taliaferro County are attending. .Mrs. Justin Turner and Harrison of Elberton visited Mrs. Iris Dyson Thursday afternoon. .Mrs. Gail Hammock of Warwick spent several days last week with Mr. and Mrs. Ricky McCarty. On Sunday, June 10, Pam and Gail went to Fort Mountain near Ellijay to attend the Park family reunion. .Mrs. Ricky McCarty attended the wedding of Katie Shelton and Tucker Hardy at Ebenezer Baptist church Saturday afternoon. .Whitney and Charlie Branham spent Saturday afternoon with Ann and Josh Caldwell at Alexander Stephens State Park and enjoyed fishing in the lake there. .Having lunch with Mr. and Mrs. Willard Lance Sunday were Elizabeth Barber and Chris Conway of Athens; James Lance of Augusta; and Keeley Sarringer of Washington. .Mrs. Bill Scoggins, Hannah and
