Divesia Lee chosen finalist by Pre-Teen Georgia

Divesia Ramanda Lee, daughter of LaShaunder Elam-Lee and Divenski Ramon Lee of Washington was selected as a finalist in the Pre-Teen Georgia Scholarship and Recognition Program held June 8-10 at the Westin North in Atlanta.

Pre-Teen Georgia is a byinvitation only scholarship and recognition event involving young ladies 7-12 years of age based on their school academic records, awards and honors won and/or their participation in outside activities. Young ladies are invited who have been recognized publicly for their outstanding personal achievements, volunteer services, school involvement, leadership abilities and creative talents.

State finalists will be evaluated on academic achievement, volunteer service to community, school honors and activities, development of personal skills and abilities, general knowledgeability, communicative ability and on-stage acknowledgement of accomplishments.

Pre-Teen Georgia awards more than $5,000 in educational bonds, prizes and awards.

Divesia is sponsored by Kut N Up Barber and Beauty Salon, owner Vernon "Tight" Anthony, Wright and Jones Funeral Home, Divesia's family owned business.

Divesia is the granddaughter of Esper and Bessie Lee and Jesse Lee and Glenda Elam.
