28 children attend Bible School at Fishing Creek Baptist
      Vacation Bible School was held at Fishing Creek Baptist Church June 18-22 with Tara George as director and Patty Durham, assistant. Twenty-eight children attended each night. The staff included Teresa Ware, nursery; Connie Danner and Carol Daniel, Pre-Kindergarten; Gloria Ware and Linda Turner, grades 1-3; and Barry McAvoy and Lori Head, older youth.

Old-fashioned Bible School held at Mallorysville
      Vacation Bible School was held at Mallorysville Baptist Church June 4-8 with supper served each night. An old-fashioned Bible school was held, directed by Vivie Ann Wilson and Dianne Compton. The curriculum was entirely Bible-based and the theme was "Champions of the Bible." Children studied about many characters of the Bible who became champions for God.

Annual revival at Mark's Tabernacle set July 30-Aug. 3
      Mark's Tabernacle Baptist Church, Lexington Avenue, Washington, will have its annual revival services July 30 through August 3. Services will begin at 7:30 p.m. each evening. There will be a different speaker each evening. Rev. Reginald Hunter of New Springhill Baptist Church, Philomath, will be the speaker on Monday night.

Four baptized at Fishing Creek
      A baptismal service was held at Fishing Creek Baptist Church, Sunday, June 24. Rev. Roy Cates is pastor of the church. Candidates for baptism were: Jacob Brown, son of Lou Anne Brown of Fayetteville. Haley Hood, daughter of Joni Morgan Greene of Martinez and Jeremy Hood of Thomson.
