Dionne Lachelle Forbes Norman Cornelius Mills Jr. Alvin Northington of Buffalo, N. Y., announces the engagement of his daughter, Dionne Lachelle Forbes, to Norman Cornelius Mills Jr. of Fayetteville, N.C., son of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Mills of Washington.

The bride-elect is the also the daughter of the late Barbara A. Forbes.

She is a licensed nurse and is currently attending school to receive her Associate in Funeral Service Education degree.

Mr. Mills is a graduate of Washington Wilkes High School and is a maintenance technician at Fort Bragg, N.C.

The wedding is planned for Saturday, July 28, at 2 p.m. at Springfield Baptist Church in Washington with Rev. Dennis Quinn officiating.
