Pompey's Chapel Baptist Church, 2438 Lundberg Rd., Washington, will have homecoming Sunday, August 26, with Sunday School beginning at 10 a.m. and the worship service at 11:30 a.m. Pastor L.V. "Smokey" Turman will be the guest speaker. Revival services will begin Monday, August 27, at 7:30 p.m. Rev. William Shorter of Athens will be the speaker for the week.

The NAACP is sponsoring a Fifty State Rally Fundraising Program Saturday, September 8, 5 p.m., at the Third Shiloh Building, Washington. Each church family is asked to support this program with a donation of $100 or whatever they can give. Rev. G.L. Avery is president; Rachel Jackson, secretary.
